Before diving into our community guidelines, it's essential to address the recurring payment aspect of your membership:

  1. Recurring Monthly or Annual Charge: I understand and acknowledge that my membership with The Art Queens is subject to a recurring monthly or annual charge as listed on this page. By purchasing this membership, I agree to be billed on a monthly or annual basis, depending on the selected membership plan, for the specified membership fee until cancellation or requesting a cancellation by contacting the team at [email protected]. Membership is not refundable. 

Our Mission

AQ is a coaching and mindset platform dedicated to helping you step into your most empowered, abundant, and authentic life. We are a welcoming community that embraces diversity, including artists, curators, industry leaders, and more. Our goal is to create a safe and nurturing space during our private coaching calls, masterminds, and membership sessions. We celebrate each other's successes and aim to assist others in achieving their goals by providing support and accountability.

Safe Space

Our online space, which includes our website, live Zoom calls, member area, and social media channels, is aligned with our mission and designed to be a safe and inclusive environment for respectful and civilized conversations that honor each member. We kindly request that you help us maintain a space characterized by kindness and constructive dialogue, even when disagreements arise. If something doesn't resonate with you, please consider moving on to something else that inspires you. Our online spaces are moderated by staff members who are committed to supporting your journeys with respect and care.

During our live coaching sessions, members will have an opportunity to indicate their pronouns, receive a safe word, and reach out to moderators if anything triggering or uncomfortable arises.

Please note that if you post on our social media or private group and do not see your post or comment on our feed, it may have been found to be in violation of our guidelines and rules. We encourage you to familiarize yourself with the regulations and guidelines outlined below to help us maintain a safe and supportive community for all participants. COMMUNITY GUIDELINES

All social media posts and comments are subject to approval by the admin team. Before posting on our website or social media, please ensure that your content aligns with the following guidelines:

  1. Respectful Engagement: Please approach this community with a willingness to connect and support one another. Before posting, take a moment to reflect on whether your comment or message is kind, constructive, helpful, or inspiring. Refrain from submitting posts or comments containing harsh language, complaints, or negativity. If you have legitimate concerns, please email our team at [email protected].

  2. Sharing Achievements: Members are encouraged to share their new work, achievements, wins, and launches. We are here to support your growth and celebrate your successes.

  3. Avoid Gossip: Refrain from engaging in gossip or triangulation. In this community, we hold space for each other, see the best in each other, and present our most authentic selves at all times. Avoid spreading negative rumors or judgments about community members. If you feel unsafe, please notify our team privately via email about your concerns.

  4. No Hate Speech or Bullying: We reject hate speech and bullying in all forms. We believe in restorative justice through community dialogue. Any commentary or posts contributing to racism, homophobia, transphobia, classism, fatphobia, or ableism will result in immediate removal from social media or our online membership. Reach out to admins if you have questions or concerns. Accounts leaving harmful comments may be blocked or restricted on our Instagram profile.

  5. Report Abusive Content: If you encounter abusive content, please report it directly to our team at [email protected] rather than engaging with the member or commenting on social media.

  6. Politeness and Courtesy: Maintain politeness and courtesy in all communications with members and staff. While advice, constructive criticism, and healthy disagreements may occur, avoid personal attacks, hurtful comments, or harassment under any circumstances.

  7. Self-Advocacy: Advocate for yourself. Your success and joy matter to us, and we look forward to sharing your beautiful art, work, and achievements with our audience.

Thank you for your support and cooperation as AQ works to create safe and nurturing spaces. Please note that violating these guidelines may result in a warning from our team on the first occasion, and repeated violations may lead to removal from our group, membership, or social media platforms. Violations will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis.

FAQ

What if I miss the live meeting?

All calls will be recorded and uploaded a few days following the class. You are always welcome to watch recordings if you can't make it to the live event on Zoom. We try to rotate call times as much as we can to allow more participation from members. We are a global community committed to offering different call times when possible.

What happens after I join?

Once you join, you will receive email communication from us regarding meeting times and Zoom links, new resources, and downloads. You can access all upcoming calls in the member area. You will be able to submit your art to the directory.

How do I change my payment method?

If you need to change your billing information or credit card, you can log in to your account or email our team at [email protected].

How do I access the materials?

Visit www.theartqueens.com/login, click "Society," then “Log In.” Once you are logged in, you will be redirected to the member area.

What is your refund policy?

Due to the digital nature of the membership, there are no refunds once you have enrolled. If you purchase this membership by mistake, please email [email protected] for assistance.

Can I cancel my membership?

You can cancel your membership anytime and are always welcome to come back when you are ready to join us again and enrollment is open. We understand that life has different seasons.

I joined the Art Queens about six months ago when I set the intention of slowly transitioning from being a full-time lawyer to (hopefully someday soon) full-time art entrepreneur. I was just setting out on my journey and very intimidated by "real artists." I cannot even begin to describe how much this welcoming, supportive and incredible group has helped me grow. From the first post on the Facebook group, I was immediately welcomed and put at ease. I've learned so much both as an artist and business owner from our monthly calls and from other queens that the intention I set is slowly but surely becoming a reality. I am forever grateful for this beautiful community!
